"So tasty, so sweet," as I gaze at my treat,

Dangling in front of me on a platter to eat.

"I need to feast," my desire salivates,

As I lunge, I bite, I complete the feat.

The desire fulfilled, the prize ingested,

Until I begin to feel the heat.

"There's something hurting me! I am hooked, you cheat!"
